News: New Features in the Pipeline

At Blockscout, we're continuously innovating and revamping the explorer experience for you. Many changes are driven by partnerships with chains that have custom needs or want unique functionality. Others come from user feedback and feature requests, and still more come directly from our own testing and market research.

Because we're a small, nimble team with an open codebase, we make some changes ourselves and also work with the developer community submitting issues and PRs to our repo.

Over the past few months we've focused on optimizations for our busiest chain (Robinhood) and refactored our indexer for performance gains. This work is ongoing, and you'll keep seeing improvements to data speed across both the explorer interface and the API.

In the meantime, we're cooking up some new features:

  • Autoscout Wizard: Autoscout is our flagship explorer launcher for any EVM chain, and the new wizard gives you the easiest possible route to launch. Enter your RPC, press a button, and watch your explorer come together in minutes. We're excited to bring this to any chain that needs a fast, low-cost explorer. Autoscout Wizard launches in September 2026.
  • Token Info Prioritizer: You can already submit token info to Blockscout, but our backlog has grown significantly with the surge of new tokens launching on chains like Robinhood. The new prioritization feature lets you submit your info through a form and pay an optional fee to move to the front of the queue. An expedited token submission process is available today, and the new form will streamline it further. Token Info Prioritizer goes live in September 2026.
  • Pro API WebSockets (live now!): A single multiplexed WebSocket connection is now available for our Pro API. We're still putting together a full explainer, but if you want to start subscribing to data events today, check out our WebSocket API reference in the docs.

We're always open to community ideas and feedback. Connect with us on Discord and let us know what features you'd like to see on Blockscout!

🗞️ Blockscout News in Brief

A wide range of projects rely on Blockscout to meet their blockchain needs. That includes Autoscout users, chain teams who need a fast explorer, and DeFi projects that use our Pro API for targeted, high-speed data feeds.

We recently sat down with two of these teams: one running Autoscout, another building on the Pro API. Both conversations dig into what's working, what could be better, and why Blockscout is their explorer and data layer of choice.

Autoscout is the leading deployment tool for spinning up a production-grade block explorer for any EVM chain. With Autoscout, chains don’t need a dedicated devops team or expensive in-house hosting infrastructure. All it takes is an available RPC to set up an instance, add a few config

🤖 Blockscout MCP on Agent Status

Agent Status ranks public MCP servers across a wide range of industries. The Public MCP Score measures these servers the way a client actually would: negotiating the protocol dialect, discovering tools, invoking them, and recording whether the path held up from a residential network. Blockscout recently ranked in the top 10 of more than 750 search-related MCPs.
