Robinhood Chain: Memes, RWAs, and the Live Numbers Behind the Headlines
CASHCAT holds a $135M market cap on Robinhood Chain today; memes still dominate July's volume. Live data pulled from the explorer, and how to pull it yourself.
TL;DR. CASHCAT carries a $135.6 million market cap and 57,659 holders today; Robinhood's own official GameStop and NVIDIA stock tokens combined sit at about $5.1 million and roughly 51,000 holders. The July-long trend shows the same gap: memes made up roughly 51–79% of trading volume depending on the slice, RWAs about 5–10%, even as RWA value keeps growing fast in absolute terms.
- CASHCAT's 24-hour volume ($22.5M) is nearly 9x the combined 24-hour volume of Robinhood's two flagship stock tokens ($2.45M).
- Across July, meme coins made up roughly 51% of spot trading volume chain-wide; RWAs made up about 5%, per Dune data reported by Odaily.
- RWA value is still growing fast: from roughly $12.8M shortly after launch to about $70M by late July.
- Robinhood Chain generated $3.6M in Real Economic Value in July, per growthepie, more than Polygon or Base.

August 11 data
Robinhood Chain's official stock tokens and its best-known meme coin are all indexed on the same explorer, so we queried them directly. CASHCAT (contract 0x020bfC650A365f8BB26819deAAbF3E21291018b4) shows 57,659 holders, a $135.6 million circulating market cap, and $22.5 million in 24-hour volume. The contract type is a plain “LaunchToken,” the generic template anyone can deploy on a permissionless chain, created June 18, 2026, before Robinhood Chain's July 1 mainnet even opened.
GameStop • Robinhood Token, the officially issued version, shows 12,956 holders, a $1.25 million market cap, and $1.23 million in 24-hour volume.
NVIDIA • Robinhood Token, also officially issued, shows 38,424 holders, a $3.89 million market cap, and $1.22 million in 24-hour volume. Add the two together and you get roughly $5.1 million in combined market cap against CASHCAT's $135.6 million on its own.

The Verification Gap
Note that both official stock tokens are BeaconProxy contracts pointing at a shared “Stock” implementation, and both are flagged is_verified_via_admin_panel: true, Blockscout's marker for Robinhood-issued tokens specifically. Searching the token symbol “GME” on the explorer turns up seven results, and only one carries that flag. The other six are unverified or independently deployed contracts using the same name and ticker. Same story for “NVDA.”
is_verified_via_admin_panel flag is the fastest way to tell the real Robinhood-issued token from a lookalike using the same ticker.// Contract addresses referenced in this piece — Robinhood Chain (chain_id 4663)

The live snapshot above is a single day. Zooming out to the full month tells a consistent story. Across July, meme coins made up roughly 51% of Robinhood Chain's spot trading volume, and RWAs made up about 5%, according to Dune-sourced data reported by Odaily. A separate CoinGecko analysis of DEX volume specifically, as of July 27, put memecoins at 79.2% of DEX volume, RWAs at 9.69%, and other pairs (largely WETH, ETH, stablecoins) at 11.1%. The two figures use different denominators, but both point the same direction.
CASHCAT drove a lot of the meme volume on its own, logging $824.89 million in lifetime volume across 1.37 million trades by late July, according to Dune Analytics data cited by BeInCrypto.
RWA value, meanwhile, grew steadily through the month even as it stayed a small share of activity: roughly $12.8 million shortly after launch, to $25.4 million by July 24, to around $70 million by late July, with a dozen tokenized stocks each clearing more than $500,000 in daily volume by then, a roughly fivefold increase across the month.
Where This Is Heading
A few concrete signals point to what happens next, rather than just guesses:
- The gas subsidy has an end date. Robinhood is covering transaction fees for eligible users through roughly late September 2026. Once users pay their own gas, that's the first real test of whether meme trading volume holds up on its own economics.
- Robinhood monetizes the chain either way. Regardless of composition, Robinhood Chain generated $3.6 million in Real Economic Value in July, per growthepie, 38% of all L2 revenue tracked, more than Polygon or Base.
- RWA composition is shifting toward equities specifically. Early RWA value was spread across commodities and ETFs; by late July, tokenized stocks made up the clear majority.
- The counterfeit-token problem is likely to persist. Seven near-identical “GME” contracts turned up in a single symbol search, only one of them official. Expect more of this as more retail traffic arrives, not less.
How to Pull This Data Yourself
None of the data we gathered required a data subscription, we simly used the Robinhood API and UI. Here's what we did, so you can run the same checks:

- Look up a token by symbol to find its contract address and see every token using that ticker, official and unofficial, side by side. This is also the fastest scam check: compare the verification flag across results.
- Query the address directly for holder count, circulating market cap, 24-hour volume, and contract verification status, decoded and current, not a cached aggregator snapshot.
- Check the implementation contract, if one exists. Official Robinhood stock tokens all proxy to the same “Stock” implementation. A token claiming to be official that doesn't share that implementation is worth a second look.
- Compare volume and holder counts across tokens to build your own view of what's actually trading, rather than relying on a single percentage from a research note.
