News: July 1 is Pro API day!

On July 1 we officially transition from our per-instance APIs to the universal Blockscout Pro API. One key, one base URL, coverage across 100+ chains, with both REST and JSON-RPC access, additional endpoints, and rich metadata throughout.

Many projects have already made the switch. If you haven't, now is the time: check the docs, grab your API key, and point your URLs to the Pro API.

July 1 also brings changes to the Etherscan API. Their free tier is being scaled back, with records returned per request cut by 10X and the "get internal transactions by block range" endpoint removed entirely. If you're affected, it's the perfect moment to move to a provider with higher limits, better RPS, and a developer-friendly approach.

Beyond core blockchain data, Blockscout serves metadata and contract information out of the box. Our latest release adds ENS support to the Pro API, with name resolution and related details available directly through the API.

-> Check it out and make the switch today.

Frontend v2.8 released

Frontend v2.8.0 is now live! The multichain explorer was improved with a bridged tokens tab, a refreshed stats layout, and support for confidential ERC-7984 tokens in portfolio and transfer views. CSV exports now run asynchronously, so large exports finish in the background, and home pages update the latest block in real time. Under the hood, the app moved to Next.js 16 and TypeScript 6 as part of a broader architecture overhaul, with plenty of bug fixes and UX polish throughout.
