Explore ZetaChain: Full Visibility into Cross-Chain Transactions
The ZetaChain block explorer gives full visibility into cross-chain transactions. Track CCTX lifecycles, tokens, and onchain stats across multiple networks.

ZetaChain is the first Universal L1 blockchain designed to connect everything, from Ethereum and Bitcoin to Solana and beyond. To build trust and adoption across this multichain environment, users and developers need clear visibility into what is happening onchain across every major ecosystem.
The Blockscout block explorer for ZetaChain makes it possible to track every transaction, token, and contract in one place, with custom support for one of ZetaChain’s unique features: Cross-Chain Transactions (CCTXs).
Core Block Explorer Features

The Zetachain block explorer delivers the familiar, open-source Blockscout experience while tailored to ZetaChain’s ecosystem. Users and developers can:
- Search transactions, blocks, accounts, contracts, and validators.
- Verify and interact with smart contracts directly.
- View ZETA and ZRC-20 balances and transfers.
- Navigate account pages for EOAs, contracts, and validator nodes.
- Access developer tools including APIs, GraphQL, and contract interaction UIs.
This foundation provides full visibility into ZetaChain’s activity across supported chains like TON, Solana, Bitcoin, and more, making it simple to audit and build on the network.
Analyzing Cross-Chain Transactions (CCTX)
A Cross-Chain Transaction (CCTX) on ZetaChain is a native mechanism for moving assets and data between chains. Instead of relying on wrapped tokens, CCTXs let developers build Universal Apps that interact with any connected network, including Bitcoin.

From initiation on a connected chain, through validation by ZetaChain’s observer-signers, execution on ZetaChain’s EVM, and finally an outbound transaction or revert, each CCTX follows a defined lifecycle.
Lifecycle Tracking
The explorer provides a CCTX list and dedicated transaction pages, showing the full lifecycle of each cross-chain transaction:
- Status indicators (pending, executed, reverted).
- Source and destination chains.
- Linked transactions on external explorers for traceability.
- Filtering and grouping by chain, status, or amount.
If a CCTX reverts due to issues like insufficient gas or contract errors, the explorer surfaces the revert message and fallback logic, giving developers critical insight into failure modes.

Example: A user sends USDC from Base to ZetaChain. On the explorer you can follow each step:
- Sender transaction on Base: The user initiates the transfer from their Base address, sending USDC.BASE
- CCTX creation: The transaction is observed and a cross-chain transaction record is created on ZetaChain
- Receiver transaction on ZetaChain: The corresponding event is recorded on ZetaChain, showing the receiving address and lifecycle state
Every part of this flow is visible in the explorer: the original transaction on Base, the cross-chain transaction hash, the lifecycle status, and the receiving entry on ZetaChain. This makes it simple to confirm both the asset movement and the transaction state across chains.

Zetachain Stats and Ecosystem Insights
The explorer’s stats page gives a network-wide perspective: transaction charts, token counts, and CSV download for deeper analysis. On ZetaChain, the page also includes custom metrics such as:
- Daily and cumulative CCTX charts to track cross-chain throughput.
- Builder Wallets, highlighting developer adoption

ZetaChain’s Broader Vision
ZetaChain takes a different approach to interoperability. Instead of layering bridges and messaging protocols on top of siloed chains, it embeds cross-chain execution into its own Layer 1 consensus. Developers can deploy a Universal Smart Contracts once on ZetaChain and interact with multiple chains natively. Assets are handled in their original form through ZRC-20 tokens, while built-in revert logic ensures safety when things go wrong.
By putting interoperability at the base layer, ZetaChain reduces fragmentation and creates a unified experience for both users and developers.
The explorer is a direct expression of this vision: every transaction, including complex cross-chain activity, can be tracked with the same clarity as a simple transfer.
