Welcoming Widgets

Blockchain data comes to life with the addition of rich metadata. Our latest widgets integration brings vital info and actionable insights to Blockscout address and contract pages.
Widgets are live across EOA, token, and contract pages: giving you instant insight into the full onchain profile across risk, reputation, governance, and more, right from the address.
Want to see your dapp featured? Reach out and let’s talk.

⚙️ Widgets

Enriching Blockchain Data with Context
Blockchain data contains all the essential information, but additional metadata is needed to provide the full context and rich details that make it truly useful. This metadata can include tags, project information, token icons and prices, ENS names, smart contract code, and much more. While this data isn't stored directly onchain, it's accessible through pointers embedded in the blockchain data.
Blockscout retrieves this associated information using these pointers, enriching raw blockchain data with meaningful context and additional utility. Our latest feature, widgets, takes this a step further by adding a wealth of relevant information for Externally Owned Accounts (EOAs) and contracts through third-party integrations.
What Widgets Provide
Instant Context: Widgets display additional data for addresses and contracts, showing activity across various applications and providing a comprehensive view of engagement, participation, and general blockchain usage.
Immediate Utility: Beyond just displaying information, widgets enable direct action. For example, users can check their airdrop eligibility through the Bankless widget and claim rewards immediately without leaving the platform.
Security Insights: When examining contracts, users can access risk scores, available audits, and code complexity analysis to help assess the security and safety of any contract or token.
Current Integrations

We've integrated widgets from Talent Protocol, Ethereum Follow Protocol, Webacy, DeepDAO, Trustblock, SmartMUV, and Bankless, with more partnerships in development to provide an increasingly complete picture of blockchain activity.
How to Access Widgets
Widgets automatically populate on address and contract pages. Simply scroll down any address or contract page to view available widgets, or use the dedicated tab to access them through the interface.

🤖 MCP Server
The Blockscout MCP is live! The MCP lets tools like Claude, Cursor, and IDEs pull structured blockchain data like balances, NFTs, contracts, and logs and provide contextual information. Available features are still in development, and we are excited to build out additional use cases, prompts, and resources to support AI engines and agents!
- Learn more about the MCP at https://mcp.blockscout.com/
- Try it live at Smithery.Ai

📙 Docs Refresh
We've updated our docs to leverage Mintifly, an AI-native documentation platform built for developers. Ask questions directly with the AI assistant and search for specific data like API endpoints and ENVs seamlessly.
The new Blockscout docs are available at docs.blockscout.com.

🚀 Autoscout Crypto Payments
Our new integration with Daimo Pay means you can easily pay for your Blockscout deployments with what comes naturally - crypto! 1000+ tokens are accepted, and you can top off your account any time directly through the platform interface.
Spin up an explorer for you chain in 5 minutes then pay with any token to power the exploration. Now available at https://deploy.blockscout.com/

⛽️ Blog Articles
This week we wrote 2 articles about our built-in features and integrations.
Gas.zip lets you bridge and add quickly add gas tokens to a huge assortment of chains. It is available via the Need Gas? ⛽️
button at the top of Blockscout.

Revokescout is a powerful Blockscout native dapp that lets you quickly view and revoke token approvals on various chains. The best part? Revoke transactions are free! Stay safe, check your wallet, and revoke unneeded permissions today.

🌐 Octant Funding round
Octant's Epoch 8 concluded successfully for the many public goods projects participating. We had support from 87 donors ✨ resulting in an 8.36 ETH donation thanks to very generous matching from Octant! We were honored to participate alongside so many excellent projects and will use the funds to help support our public instances and new roadmap features.
Many thanks to Octant and all who sent some GLM rewards to Blockscout! If you'd like to participate next round, be sure to lock some GLM now so you can allocate during the next epoch.

The Blockscout newsletter goes out to all MyAccount community users on supported chains. We welcome your feedback on topics you'd like to see covered or any questions you have. Visit us on X or Discord to get your explorer questions answered or get your project added to our growing network list.
