Tech in Asia: Blockscout names ex-Alipay UK exec as CEO

Blockscout has named Eva Zhang, former CEO of Alipay UK, as its new chief executive. Blockscout is an open-source block explorer for Ethereum Virtual Machine-based blockchains.

Zhang previously led Alipay UK’s expansion in Europe and has held senior roles at Ant Group and Alibaba Cloud. Her appointment comes after Blockscout’s recent seed funding round led by 1kx.

Blockscout operates on over 3,000 networks, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, and major Superchain networks.
