New Year, New Features

Explore what’s coming to Blockscout in 2026, along a roundup of updates including recognition in Animoca’s Digital Assets Outlook, inclusion in Claude’s connector directory, new Merits campaigns

New Year, New Features

We've spent the first half of January zeroing in on some exciting new roadmap items! As we expand our offerings to support upcoming high-TPS chains, payment-focused chains, and private-chain infrastructure, we maintain our mandate to provide a best-in-class explorer experience for all users.

In 2026 look for new explorer features like a super-charged PRO API, a Universal Bridge Indexer that brings radical transparency to cross-chain transactions, Autoscout plugins for advanced self-deployment, Blockscout privacy mode, and more.

We'll be updating our roadmap details in the coming weeks to include these features and lay out our Q-by-Q game plan. These improvements hit on many different aspects of the explorer, led by specific custom features for our hosted chains.

As always, if you have specific features in mind, create an issue in our Github repo or talk with developers directly in our Discord channel.
