1️⃣ Multichain Explorer

Search, explore, multi, transactions, crypto, blockchain, multichain, interoperability...

Some prophet somewhere was writing about blockchain and interoperability back in 1908!, but usage of these terms has risen rapidly in the modern era. We continue to increase our capacity to search and explore data, and use blockchains to transact and record all of it, and our language reflects this new reality.

As the idea of singular, siloed blockchains gives way to a dynamic multichain model, we'll see terms like multichain and interoperability rise in popularity. Ecosystem tools will evolve to support multichain and interoperability in new and exciting ways.

Blockscout's new multichain explorer is one of those tools.

The multichain explorer features:

  • A unified multichain search supporting wallets, tokens, transactions, contracts, dapps, or ENS. Results populate instantly across supported networks.
  • The ability to track balances, transfers, and ERC20 and NFT token details across chains.
  • Context-rich metadata providing prices, labels, contract types, token icons, and more.
  • Cross-chain dapp discovery that helps you find dapps in different categories on the chains you need. Convenient, fast and enlightening πŸ’‘

Power to the PR

Sometimes change happens all at once, and other times it happens one pull request at a time. In this article we share a simple guide on submitting PRs to open source repos that link to block explorers. We encourage everyone to make the change and replace closed source with open-source Blockscout explorers whenever and wherever you can!
