The Rootstock Global Wallet is rolling out in phases, and we’re celebrating each major milestone with a collectible NFT badge for the community.
This three-part badge collection marks the progress of a DAO-funded initiative designed to improve onboarding, wallet UX, and ecosystem cohesion across Rootstock.
Each badge unlocks once its corresponding milestone is completed.
Mint with the Rootstock Global Wallet and Earn 700 Merits
If you mint using the Rootstock Global Wallet, for each milestone badge you will receive a 700 Merits bonus 🎁
You experience the wallet exactly as it was designed with account abstraction, simplified onboarding, and ecosystem-native integration, all while earning extra rewards.
How to Get Your Rootstock Global Wallet
1️⃣ Go to the Badges Website
- Visit the Badges page and click Connect your wallet.
- If you are already connected, make sure to Disconnect so you can create your Rootstock Global Wallet as specified in Step 2 below.
2️⃣ Select Rootstock Global Wallet
When prompted with wallet options, choose Rootstock Global Wallet
3️⃣ Create or Connect Your Wallet
- If you are new, create your Rootstock Global Wallet
- If you are already active in the Merits program, select “Continue with wallet” and use the same 0x address you’ve been using for Merits
This ensures that your 700 Merits bonus is credited to the correct address.
4️⃣ Mint Your Badge
Once your Rootstock Global Wallet is connected, mint the unlocked milestone badge.

Merits Distribution Dates
Each milestone badge includes a dedicated Merits reward window. To receive the 700 Merits bonus, make sure you mint the badge using the Rootstock Global Wallet before the distribution dates listed below.
- Milestone 1: March 15
- Milestone 2: May 15
- Milestone 3: August 15
Important for Existing Merits Users
If you are already active in the Merits program, make sure to create your Rootstock Global Wallet using the same 0x address associated with your Merits activity.
During the sign-up process, choose the bottom option: “Continue with a wallet”
This ensures that you mint the badge using the Rootstock Global Wallet, and that the 700 Merits bonus is credited to the same wallet you already use in the Merits program.
The Three Milestones
This badge collection tracks the full roadmap of the Rootstock Global Wallet initiative funded by the Rootstock Collective DAO. Each milestone will unlock its own commemorative badge.
Milestone 1
Delivery of the standalone Rootstock Global Wallet and white-labeled SDK for ecosystem integration.
Milestone 2
Full wallet integration inside the Rootstock Blockscout explorer, enabling login and seamless interaction directly within the explorer interface.
Milestone 3
Completion of the initial six-month run, including gas sponsorship, usage tracking, and ecosystem analytics to evaluate impact and long-term continuation.
A DAO-Funded Ecosystem Upgrade
The Rootstock Global Wallet is funded through a governance proposal approved by the Rootstock Collective DAO. The goal is to create an ecosystem with stronger onboarding, consistent wallet experience across dapps, gas-sponsored transactions, and better developer tooling via the SDK.
This initiative represents shared ecosystem infrastructure, a coordinated step toward smoother adoption across Rootstock.
