1️⃣ Eva's speaking engagements during Token2049
In addition to the MoU ceremony with Alibaba Cloud, Eva and the Blockscout team are attending Token2049 Week in Singapore.

- Nextfin: Eva participated in a panel discussion on Institutional Ethereum Infrastructure

2️⃣ Igor to lead EF’s privacy team
Blockscout founder Igor Barinov has been named the official coordinator of Privacy @ EF, and will guide strategy and alignment across privacy-focused efforts. Igor has been a longtime advocate for open-source technology and privacy, and we are thrilled he will be leading such an important initiative with the Ethereum Foundation. He will continue his work with Blockscout as an advisor and board member.

3️⃣ Flashblocks are live on OP Mainnet
Flashblocks are smaller, faster "mini-blocks" processed every 250 milliseconds on chain. They provide near-real-time updates and enhance user experience for applications requiring additional speed like on-chain games and high-volume trading platforms. Flashblocks are supported on OP chains including Base and now Optimism mainnet, look for future implementations on other Superchain networks.

4️⃣ Community building and the upcoming EthGlobal Online Hackathon
Developers are building with Blockscout's APIs and MCP to build helpful applications and explore the vast troves of data Blockscout can provide. Community member Vikash created Token Lookup, a simple app that provides token details across all supported chains

Starting October 10, participants in the ETHGlobal ETHOnline 2025 Hackathon can build with Blockscout tools. During this 3 week async hackathon builders can deploy with Autoscout, vibecode with the Blockscout MCP, or integrate the Blockscout SDK into their hackathon apps.
Blockscout will provide $10K in prizes to winners. If you are interested in participating, there's still time to apply.
5️⃣ Giveth Touching Grass campaign - Gitcoin upcoming
The Giveth QF causes round wrapped up on October 1. Generous donors contributed to Blockscout's Touching Grass campaign, with matching funds from Public Nouns, The Sandbox DAO, ShapeShift, and Giveth Matching Pool Donors. These funds will help organizations offsetting energy use and advancing innovations in regenerative technologies. Thank you to all who contributed!
